RELATED: Genshin Impact: Best Nahida Team Compositions Guide

In combat, The Head Shrine Maiden can be a valuable Sub-DPS if players include her in the right team composition. She can support other characters in inflicting damage and has an outstanding Electro application. All these abilities give Yae Miko the ability to easily work with other characters, so Genshin Impact players should not find it hard to team her with the right units.

Updated November 30th, 2022, by Nahda Nabiilah: Electro has been the most underwhelming Element in Genshin Impact for the longest time, causing players to long for Dendro in hope that it’ll be the savior for Electro. Thankfully, once Dendro is released in Genshin Impact 3.0, it proves to be a great improvement towards Electro. In fact, Dendro is best played with an Electro character as its company. As one of the best Electro Sub-DPS in the game, Yae Miko easily fits well with Dendro characters, so this list will now include the best Dendro options.

Best Electro Characters To Include In Yae Miko’s Team Composition

Although Yae Miko counts on her Elemental Skill to deal damage, she still can inflict massive damage with her Elemental Burst. Having another Electro character on her team activates the Electro Resonance, giving Yae Miko easier access to her burst.

Raiden Shogun

Raiden Shogun is an excellent battery in Genshin Impact. She can work with any character that relies on their Bursts for damage. Not only that, but Raiden also buffs everyone’s Elemental Burst’s damage, including herself.

Raiden and Miko can be a strong rotation with Miko taking more field time. Raiden, on the other hand, should only be out during her Burst time.

C6 Kujou Sara

Any Electro unit in Genshin Impact can have their damage greatly boosted with C6 Sara by their side. C0 Sara is a decent buffer too, but her buff has some limitations and conditions to be fulfilled.

Some examples are:

The character needs to stand inside her buff to gain it. The buff has low timing, so Sara has to constantly be rotating in and out. Only active characters within the AoE can get the buff. Other units have to wait until Sara initiates her Skill again. C6 Sara is difficult to get. Before C6, Bennett is much better and easier to use as a buffer.

Best Hydro Characters To Include In Yae Miko’s Team Composition

Electro is currently the weakest Element in Genshin Impact. While it has appropriate reactions with other Elements, it doesn’t have deadly reactions like Pyro. The best reaction an Electro unit can count on to deal damage is Electro-Charged. It’s an Elemental Reaction that occurs when Electro meets Hydro (or vice versa).

Tartaglia

Once Childe opens his Hydro blades, enemies are in for a world of pain.

When Childe activates his Elemental Skill, all his damage converts to Hydro damage, endlessly applying Hydro while Yae Miko is applying Electro off-field with her Fox Turrets. The combo is smooth, effective, and packs loads of damage.

Xingqiu

Xingqiu, without a doubt, is a top-tier Support and Sub-DPS to any character in Genshin Impact. When pairing him with Yae Miko, both can deal decent damage, especially since Xingqiu’s Hydro application is steady to the point where he can help Yae Miko trigger most of the Electro-Charged reactions.

That’s Important for Yae Miko, since building her on Elemental Mastery can boost her Turrets’ damage, which will also raise the damage of the Electro-Charged reactions she triggers.

Kokomi

Apart from being a top-tier healer, Sangonomiya Kokomi also has a great Hydro application. Both Kokomi and Yae Miko’s Elemental Skills have AoE Hydro and Electro applications, so Kokomi can help Yae Miko trigger the Electro-Charged reaction in a wide AoE.

Other Characters To Include In Yae Miko’s Team Composition

As much as it’s essential to pair characters that improve Yae Miko’s reactions, adding some unique characters can further enhance Yae’s capabilities.

Kazuha

Kazuha plays a variety of roles in team compositions. The Wandering Samurai can fully support other units with his Anemo abilities while still dealing massive damage.

When pairing Kazuha with Yae Miko in Genshin Impact, he will grant her more Electro DMG and decrease enemies’ resistance to Electro. Additionally, he will CC them and pull them into one place. This allows Yae Miko to use her abilities to the fullest.

Eula

Eula is a Main DPS, so she needs a team that revolves around her. The first unit she always needs is an Electro character. Electro assists her in triggering Superconduct, which results in more Physical damage on the battlefield.

Since Yae Miko plays the Sub-DPS role well, both Eula and Yae Miko can easily be paired together to achieve perfect synchronization. However, with Eula, both units will need a proper battery. They will struggle to regain their Elemental Burst otherwise.

Venti

As the best crowd controller in the game, Venti fits in any team comp where his teammates hit enemies in an AoE. Both Yae Miko’s Skill and Burst hits in a small AoE, so Venti’s assistance can be significant. Without proper crowd control, it’d be rare for Yae Miko to hit multiple enemies at once.

Other than that, Venti with Viridescent Venerer will reduce the enemy’s Electro RES, Elegy for the End can buff the entire team, and finally, the Anemo Archon can be a Genshin Impact Battery for Yae Miko if his ultimate absorbs Electro. Once his Wind Vortex ends, Venti will refund 15 Energy to Electro characters.

Tighnari

Tighnari is the first 5-star Dendro character and the only 5-star unit that’s ever added to the Standard Banner. Like Collei, he wields the Bow and is most suitable as a Sub-DPS. His playstyle heavily revolves around the Spread reaction, which triggers when Electro and Dendro meet to create a Quicken debuff. Without Spread, Tighnari’s damage can be quite underwhelming, but with it, he comes close to Ganyu in terms of Charged Attack DPS.

Due to his dependency on the reaction, it’s mandatory to have a decent Electro enabler with Tighnari. Obviously, Yae Miko is greatly suited for the job. Her constant Electro application and large AoE synergizes greatly with Tighnari. The Quicken debuff also allows her to deal Aggravate damage, increasing Yae Miko’s personal DPS.

Nahida

The Dendro Archon of Genshin Impact takes the game by storm thanks to her cuteness and highly useful battle abilities. With her Elemental Skill, Nahida will link nearby enemies and deal Dendro DMG to them each time an Elemental reaction occurs. Since Yae Miko continuously deals Electro DMG, she can easily ensure that Elemental reactions always trigger on linked enemies.

On top of that, Nahida also grants a large Elemental Mastery boost to the active character, up to a whopping 250. Since Yae Miko will spend most of her time off-field, she won’t benefit from this buff much, but it’ll still be useful if she deals Aggravate with her ultimate.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
